Jazz Piano requires all of the focus and commitment of the Classical Piano with the added demand of the Cool/Hot and skillful improvisation. Instruction focuses on left and right hand technique (for chord progressions and scales), Jazz Chord Theory and substitution, Chord Melodies and Pure Improvisation.

Rock Piano

Mastering the skill and expression of the Rock Piano is a heart-thumping experience. Instruction focuses on right and left hand technique, scale theory and technique, arpeggio studies, chord blocks and rock rhythms for the left and right hand.

Blues Piano

Mastering the skill and expression of Blues Piano is a get-down, get-back and jump-up experience. Instruction focuses on right and left hand technique, scale theory and technique for modes and pentatonic scales, arpeggio studies, chord blocks, blues rhythms for the left and right hand and the 8,12,16 and 24 bar Blues (with and without bubbles).
