Blues Bass

Mastering the skill and expression of Blues Bass is a slap-down, get-back and jump-up experience. Instruction focuses on right and left hand technique, scale theory and technique for modes and pentatonic scales, arpeggio studies, chord blocks, blues rhythms and the 8,12,16 and 24 bar Blues (with and without bubbles).

Jazz Bass

Jazz Bass requires all of the focus and commitment of the Rock & Blues Bass, with the added demand of the Cool/Hot and skillful improvisation. Instruction focuses on left and right hand technique (for chord progressions and scales), Jazz Chord Theory and substitution, Chord Melodies and Pure Improvisation.

Upright Bass
